The "Do Your Duty" Coin of 1846 is a significant brass token made by Peter Haws for early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while camped in Iowa Territory, used as local currency featuring a beehive/"Do Your Duty" on one side and clasped hands/"Union Is Strength" on the other, symbolizing community and shared purpose during their westward trek after being driven from their homes.
